New-ish Businesses in Greenville worth checking out!

Have you been visiting the region for years? Looking for something new to explore? Here are four businesses that have opened in recent years and are waiting for you to stop by!

Kineo Coffee Station:

After opening in June of 2015, Kineo Coffee quickly became a town favorite! Serving breakfast and lunch Tuesday-Saturday from 7AM-1PM, this is a great place to grab your favorite beverage be it a smoothie or a decaf Americano. You can enjoy a breakfast sandwich or a grilled panini at anytime of the day! Owner, Laurie Muzzy shares, “I dreamed about having a place that was just comfortable and relaxing for family, friends, and those ‘from away’ to have a gathering spot, and coffee is always a good place to start!” Come here to catch up with an old friend, charge your phones while camping or just take some time to enjoy a book by yourself. Check in with family and friends with their free wifi while enjoying their train station themed decor!

Northern Maine Minerals:

Owner, Fred Krone opened his store on Indian Hill in Greenville in July 2017. Holding a B.S. in Geology and working towards his certification as a licensed Geologist in the State of Maine, Krone has been collecting crystals, minerals, and fossils for over 25 years! The shop, Northern Maine Minerals, started online in 2015 to help fund exploration adventures. He decided to open the storefront to expand the adventure to local families, visitors and their faithful social media following (presently totally over 25,000 across multiple platforms). The new location will allow them to expand into collecting adventures, offering learning experiences highlighting Maine’s diverse geology, and help teach the next generation of explorers. Visit the shop at 127 Moosehead Lake Road in Greenville, Maine from 10AM-8PM Thursday-Tuesday (Wednesdays by appointment only) or shop online at http://stores.ebay.com/Northern-Maine-Minerals.

Puckerbrush Restaurant/Food Truck:

Owners David & Robyn Clark are working hard to open Puckerbrush in downtown Greenville. This summer they opened their outside bar and food truck with a plan to keep them open into late October, weather permitting.

The restaurant is scheduled to open early next spring! They signature foods will be wood-fired and seasonal including steaks, sandwiches, salads and much morel. David is vegan and Robyn is gluten free so their menu will be inclusive of those with dietary restrictions.  Once the full restaurant is open, they are shooting to be open from 11:00-9:00pm daily. The wood-fired oven will be visible from the dining room, adding great ambiance to any meal. Plans for the 2nd floor have not been decided on yet. The owners are researching what the needs in Greenville are.

The docks are open to the public as are the restrooms which are accessible from the door on the street side of the building.
