Although we think Tomhegan is as close to perfect as you can get, there is a chance that you might have a rain day while visiting. No worries, we’ve got you covered! There are lots of things to do in your cabin and in the quaint nearby town of Greenville.

Moosehead Lake Map

Before you visit us, consider packing some rain day necessities. Puzzles, board/card games and books are great options. If you are feeling artistic, bring along some paint, grab some dry rocks and make some Moosehead Art Rocks to place around the lake once the sky has cleared. You can also rent our TV/DVD player combo and a few DVDs to help pass the time. Bring the ingredients to make you favorite sweet treat or check the Tomhegan store for  “just add water” baking goodies! Always feel free to come see what else we have in our store. It is common for us to stay open beyond our normal store hours when the rain has us trapped inside.

However, if you’re starting to get stir crazy and need a day away from camp while the rain is pouring down, we have some great suggestions for you!
