The Moosehead Lake region is hiker heaven with many wonderful mountain peaks and trails to explore! There are tough steep hikes such as Little Spencer and easier walking trails right here at Tomhegan.
We encourage all first-time visitors to hike Moosehead’s most iconic mountain, Mt. Kineo. On your drive in, you will see spectacular views of this mesmerising gem. Only accessible by boat, shuttles are available both from the Tomhegan dock and the Kineo dock. Please contact us for more information.
