From trails right here at Tomhegan, you can snowshoe through the woods and right along the lake shore. Each winter many visitors see otters playing on the ice. Download our trail map here. The road is great for cross-country skiing, just make sure to listen for vehicles.
For those looking to adventure on to larger trail networks, The Birches, Squaw Mountain and the Natural Resource Education Center have larger trail systems available for both snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Ask the managers for specifics.
